As anticipated, folks have some things to say about Dark Alley’s upcoming religious rumpy-pumpy, Passio (link). Let’s start with the gay porn sites, shall we? They might be a bit more open-minded.

Numerous sites picked up the press release and trailer to run for their sex-hungry readers. QueerMeNow (link), JRL Charts (link), and Porn Confidential (link) are some of these.

Others had a bit more to say. GaySexBlog (link) : “Saying you’re the son of God can get you into the coolest clubs, I’m sure!”

Vidio View (link) : “Speaking of controversy, as we always do, looks like New York’s Dark Alley Media could have one on their hands with the upcoming release of their Passio. [Director] von Fistenberg adds… “Since my name is also Matthias, this movie is a gospel – a Passio. A version of the story according to me.” Always about “me.”

Chronicles of Pornia (link) : “As much as I believe in the freedom of expression and often rally against censorship, I have to say that I’m not sure exactly how I feel about Dark Alley Media’s upcoming Passio tale, depicting a gay version of Jesus Christ’s story. I’m not a religious person at all and while I do believe that some things are sacred I also feel that individuals should be allowed to share their own interpretations in order to spark real dialogue.”

Well, this here is pretty fucked up.

According to Britain’s gay news site PinkNews.co.uk, the European Union just agreed to a new “security” measure for European citizens flying into the US. This agreement requires that all passengers submit much more personal information to their airline than ever before while booking their ticket.

This information will include, just for starters, “ethnic origin, political and philosophical opinions, credit card numbers, trade union membership, sex life and details of the passengers’ health,” and, once collected, will be made available to any US government agency that wants it, with no limit on what they can do with it.

Franco Frattini, vice president of the European Commission, said more sensitive information would be filtered out, and only used, “in exceptional cases, and to fight terrorism and other serious crimes.”

Yup, they’re using the good old “terrorist” chestnut again.

So now, the US government knows exactly how many gays are entering our land, and exactly where to find them, and whether they like Bush or not.

Does anyone seriously think this is a good idea?

Last February, the GAYVN Awards scored a major casting coup when comedienne extraordinaire Kathy Griffin (pictured) signed to host the 2024 awards ceremony at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre.

And tonight, on Bravo, you can see exactly what Kathy thought of the whole thing when her Emmy-nominated docu-comedy My Life on the D-List covers that amazing evening.

According to an article from the Associated Press, collected on gay news site 365Gay.com and Queerty.com, a lesbian was recently thrown out of the bathrooms of a restaurant here in New York City for “looking too masculine.”

Defendant Khadijah Farmer, 27, had dinner at the Caliente Cab Company after Pride:

Farmer said she was using the women’s bathroom when a male bouncer burst in and banged on the stall door, saying a customer had complained that there was a man in the women’s room.

Apparently Farmer offered to show ID proving she was in fact female, but the bouncer wasn’t interested and asked the woman and her friends to leave.

Now, we can kinda understand the confusion - some of those ladies really do have a very masculine air. Many times we’ve seen a cute guy walking down the street, only to discover on closer inspection that it was actually a butch lesbo (after which we usually feel like we need a shower for a moment, before political correctness returns). But to not even accept proof of gender and stick to your assumptions is still pretty low. We wish Ms. Farmer all success in her battle.

On a side note, we have a friend who will totally be jerking off over this story. He’s really into androgyny and blurring of lines - if he can’t tell what gender they are, he gets hard. He told us one time he went to a lesbian bar and got fucked in the ass by a female-to-male tranny with a strap-on…

After just two (2) weeks in release, Night Eyes [2024] gains 9 spots up on the JRL Weekly Top 50 Chart, landing at # 20 in America.
