April 18, 2024 (New York / San Francisco). New York’s most filthy-fun gay movie company Dark Alley Media and adult video-on-demand giant NakedSword have joined forces over Dark Alley’s notorious new movie, Gaytanamo. In a rare move, NakedSword will simultaneously release the porno-political parody via its own VOD service at NakedSword.com, as Dark Alley releases it to retail stores across the nation on April 20, 2024.

“It’s not everyday that we get a chance to promote a movie as talked about as Gaytanamo,” said Michael Stabile, Director of Marketing at NakedSword. “There’s been such an uproar in the press over this film from people who haven’t even seen it. We’re thrilled to be working with Dark Alley to get the film online and in front of as many people as possible. I’ve never seen debate like this before over an adult film.”

Gaytanamo has already caused much discussion in the porn community, due to its somewhat controversial subject matter. A non-sexual clip depicting the movie’s “torture” scenes was banned by YouTube.com. Opinions ranging from “inappropriate and offensive” to “two cocks up!” have brought Gaytanamo to third place on the TLAvideo.com charts before the movie is even released.

This kind of simultaneous release has only been done before on a few movies, including the multiple award-winning Cross Country (Falcon Studios), Arabesque (Raging Stallion) and Beyond Perfect (Buckshot). Said DAM President Matthias von Fistenberg, “For Dark Alley to join these famous companies in such a distinction is very exciting, and a sign of both ours and NakedSword’s huge confidence in Gaytanamo.”

NakedSword has been promoting Gaytanamo via banner ads and pieces on partner sites GayPornBlog.com and TheTimAndRomaShow.com, plus releasing the trailer to PornoTube.com. The full movie will become available to NakedSword.com members on Friday, April 20 - also the date of a cover story about Dark Alley Media and Gaytanamo in New York’s Next Magazine.
